 This custom orthotics is made up of two layers.  The  bottom layer is made from soft EVA that is 1/8" thick.  Eva is an orthopedic foam which is standard  in the industry for making custom accommodating orthotics.  It is also use in the soles of running shoes because its cushion and durability.  After our computers cut out your orthotics we hand glue and apply an 1/8" Plastizote top cover. Plastizote has excellent cushioning along with being hypoallergenic.   This orthotic has a total thickness in the toes of 1/4".  Easily fits into athletic shoes because most of them have a 1/4" removable insole.
